Dr. Michael Lockett is a renowned American children's author and storyteller known for his lively, humorous storytelling style that incorporates sound effects and audience participation. With over 40 years of experience as a teacher, principal, education consultant, and storyteller, he has performed in 18 countries around the world, including numerous tours in Taiwan and China. Affectionately known in Asia as "Grandpa Mike," he has written 18 English children's books, many of which have been published in bilingual editions in Taiwan and other Asian countries. He has also produced several award-winning story CDs and DVDs, and authored The Basics of Storytelling, a teaching guide written for Taiwanese educators.
